Doctor of Physical Therapy
Michelle has been working in the field of physical therapy for 23 years. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse and later obtained her doctorate of physical therapy degree from AT Still University. Michelle has worked almost exclusively in outpatient orthopedics for the entirety of her career. Michelle's emphasis is on patient education and treating the underlying problem instead of just treating the symptoms.
Lisa Appel graduated from Mt. Hood Community College in April 2003 with her Associate of Applied Science Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Practicing a variety of skills allows her to assist patients in meeting their individual goals. Her interest and specialty is in manual therapy.
Her life became extraordinary when she became a mom to Grace and Henry. Her days off she bakes, works in the garden and does craft projects with her kids. Her husband owns a furniture business, so she is lucky to have a lot of beautiful pieces. As a family they love working in the yard, snow shoeing, kayaking and camping. She owns Anytime CPR, she teaches CPR & First Aid classes for The American Heart Association.
Graduated from Carrington college in Mesa, Arizona in March 2015 with his Associates of Applied Science Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. His interests are manual therapy, and patient education to help prevent injuries before they happen.
On his free time Ryan plays on a Semi Pro baseball team called the Vancouver Bandits. He also enjoys riding dirt bike, playing football and basketball with friends. He has recently got engaged to his fiancé Franki who is a Medical Assistant at the Vancouver Clinic.
